HAMPTONS SHOWHOUSE

This room was conceptualized as a chic retreat for a collector of art and twentieth century furnishings. A wonderful 1960's bronze coffee table, by La Verne, is center stage in font of  a 1940’s Italian sofa done in dark purple mohair from Dedar.  The Murano mushroom table lamps sit on French side tables made of brass and limestone.  Sculptures by various artists including Sig Linberg and Harry Bertoia line the shelves.  A Mongolian lamb’s wool chair and a Pierre Cardin snake skin chair certainly provide excitement and whimsy.
